Winter 2015-2016

This Winter we got a TON of snow. Over Christmas break we went sledding by the Stockton church...I'm not going to lie, it was pretty scary. Tiago and Keyan couldn't get enough of it, Sutton didn't want anything to do with it. Josh and I risked our lives a few times down and then decided we better stop before an injury occurred.

                                                   We made homemade snow-globes.

Keyan had his kindergarten winter program.

The boys built this huge snowman in the front yard that lasted forever before it melted.

We finally let Tiago play organized basketball. He played Jr. Stallions at Stansbury High school (my friend is the head coach there so we supported their league). He did a clinic every Saturday and afterwards had a game. Initially he was perfectly content to play his best defense, pass off the ball and be super excited for his teammates to score and then we finally taught him the power of the rebound....once he figured out how to rebound he turned into an animal, rebounding and scoring to the point that we had to tell him to pass more.

Josh and I went night skiing, we haven't been for several years. We remembered it made your legs sore, but we couldn't quite remember why or how. Well, that lasted about 30 seconds into having those boots on. We were reminded right away that we are old and out of shape! Luckily, we made it through the evening with no injuries and we considered that a huge success.

On those long winter days, I am SO grateful we have this big downstairs playroom
where the boys can make their forts. They like them to be nice and tidy.

Sutton reached a couple of milestones....he had his first official dentist visit. He was a pro, the office was laughing at how into he was, like he'd been there 100 times before.

We also attempted round 1 of potty training....he is no pro! He is giving us a run for our money on this one, after several months, he has absolutely no interest in making it happen :(
