Keyan turns 6!

Keyan is super into wolves and dinosaurs right now so for his birthday he wanted to go to the Dinosaur Museum. We planned to spend the morning there, break for lunch and then hit the rest of the museum....well after we had been at the museum for an hour we had already been through the whole thing so we roamed the gift shop for a while and half-way forced the kids through the museum for round two (this time not running to see what might be up ahead). They had a good time, but wow the $60 two hour price tag felt a little steep!
We met up with Kiri, Adam, Taylor, and Matt's family at Chuck-a-Rama....Keyan was super excited to be able to eat and drink whatever he wanted. He got flooded with presents and was a happy birthday boy.

Since the kids go to a charter school, their friends don't necessarily live close to us...in fact his two best buds, Adler and Liam live pretty much on the opposite side of the valley. This has resulted in Keyan not being able to play with them much outside of school so for a birthday treat I took him and his friends to the park after school on Friday. They ate pizza, drank punch, and ran around like crazy boys and loved it despite the crazy wind storm we endured.

The party continued onto Sunday where he had his Wolf Cake and fun with some other cousins. Pretty special birthday weekend (when did birthday's turn into multiple day events)?
