Christmas/New Years 15-16

Christmas Eve at the Walker's with the annual re-creation of the Nativity.
We had a special Christmas this year with Grandma B, it was fun to have another person join in the festivities. We also harvested our own tree this year, which really meant a lot to Josh. He isn't too excited about perfect overly decorated nice trees, so we had a kid decorated tree this year and I had to close my eyes every time I walked by it! FYI, I searched and searched for these scooters that have the big wheels so the kids could ride them on our rough road. They couldn't have cared less about them...time and time again I have to learn the lesson to just buy them what they ask for and quite coming up with my own "great ideas"!

New Year's Eve Maher party. It was at Kiri's condo clubhouse...
best location ever for a big family get together! Unfortunately, we were short a few members this year to include Grandpa Maher and Nana who are serving their mission in Australia.

With all of the snow, we decided to keep the sledding theme and go behind Adam and Athena's house.

Because there was so much snow and it was so cold we wimped out on the "Bird Run 5k". We each had to do our own run to earn our shirt. The boys did 5 sets of stairs to earn theirs!
