Spring 2014

One Wednesday I decided to try to mix things up for the kids by taking them geo-caching. We struggled with the first couple of caches so they were less than impressed, but toward the end we found a couple of good, close ones right in a row and they decided it was okay. Below is the last one that was in a real treasure chest that had fun stuff inside and even had cross bones for an "x" marks the spot.
We decided we better end on that note, we also almost ran out of gas and keyan came too close to falling into the pit of a porta-potty.....all in all we were lucky we returned home without major incident!

Tiago dressed up for Dr. Seuss day at school...I love that he isn't embarrassed to do fun stuff.
Tiago got to go to a movie and the Jazz game with Josh so I made this "movie box" for Keyan and we watched Frozen. Really...the movie is about the snacks anyway right?
For spring break we went to St. George. Here are the matching boys in front of our condo complex.
Tiffany, our kids and I went down a few days early before the rest of the family joined us.
We went on a hike in Green Valley behind the condo.
Of course, we went to our favorite park and did some "rock climbing"
The main family event was hiking at Red Cliffs. The weather was perfect for a hike.

We made it quite a ways up, we got to the second pools. I love this picture of T and K!
The water was pretty darn chilly, but Sutton insisted in walking in it just like his brothers were. Yes, Keyan is in his undies since he had worn pants we just had him take them off...weren't those the days when that was still considered appropriate!
We met up with Grandma B and some other cousins for a few hours while we were there.
The extended family stayed in a house we rented in Coral Canyon, we went swimming at the Washington city rec center and we saw Robyn (from Sister Wives) there with her kids....no camera's and no Kody. Tiffany talked her ear off (well she talked to her twice) and that really made our day to actually have a conversation with a polygamist, usually I just see them at Costco and stand in awe at the amount of mayo they are purchasing.
