Caution: Sentimental!
I don't even know what to say about this little guy, it's just so weird to feel like your seeing things for the last time. Can you believe that smile? He definitely is spoiled, here he is in his Christmas present about 2 weeks BEFORE Christmas! I hope it's still some sort of post-pardom hormone's but sometimes I just look at him and tear up a little bit...he just really has me wrapped around his tiny little finger! I am SO happy Josh came up with the idea for Sutton as his name, I just love it and can't believe how it seems to fit him so perfectly.
He has gotten to the stage that he fake coughs when he wants my attention, he loves to take naps on his stomach, and loves to suck on his hands. He laughs and smiles almost every time I make eye contact with him. He sleeps for about 4-5 hours at some point each night. Originally, I was hoping to have him in his own room by Christmas, but now that it has come and gone I can't imagine kicking him out of my room already. Let's be honest, he'll probably be sleeping in our room until he's twelve. At his well-check the Dr. was just amazed at how active he is...I think he's going to be cruising around before we know it.
He weighs 15.5 lbs which is exactly where he should be, but he's a little short so he looks pretty chunky! For some reason it is almost impossible to catch him with his mouth closed...I think it's the weight of the double chin!
This little guy is such a sweet addition to our family, it's amazing how someone so young can seem to belong so soon, I know he was definitely in Heaven just waiting to come join us. We're so glad you came little Button.
