Just as the snow was beginning to fly around here, we got to go to St. George for a variety of events. We raced the storm all the way there. Just as we were entering St. George the clouds parted and the sun came out...St. George is still exciting for me since I'm from "up north".
We planned everything so perfect...we let the kids play and eat lunch in Delta and then of course they would sleep the rest of the way...nope they didn't fall asleep until about the black ridge (in between Cedar and St. George). Luckily, we have found a great trick for travelling...suckers. Sutton traveled really well, he was probably the easiest of the three kids, he only cried when it was time for him to eat.
Since we were there for almost a week and had a newborn baby we decided to rent a one room condo, it was in the sports village so we the kids got to play tons of stuff. Basketball, mini-golf, table tennis, foosball.
Keyan almost drowned in this very pool :-(
There is a really cool park that was really close to our condo we had an entire day to just enjoy the warm weather so we stayed at the park for several hours. Tiago climbed this wall at least a dozen times. I stood under him as a safety, but I only helped him the first two times.
I snapped this photo while we were waiting for Josh to get out of his meeting. Isn't the red rock so cool.
Not pictured...Josh doing a triathlon
(no one was able to watch him due to work, a yard sale and too many kids) Poor guy.
Also not pictured: Josh's Aunt and Uncle's 50 wedding anniversary party.
Also, Also not pictured: Ben's family frantically moving to a different house.
It was really nice to have some time to just focus on our little family and not have chores to distract us.
A special shout-out to Tiffany for taking care of our chicken's in the FREEZING weather while we were gone...those 6 eggs were so worth it!
