The summer was full of exciting events. Sutton is finally big enough to play with the "big boys". The boys' cousin Porter was pretty much just added to the family.
We went to the Provo city recreation center. They have several awesome pools, waterslides, climbing walls, gyms, and so much more...its so cool I would almost move to happy valley to use it more often...almost!
After many hours of searching in the high Uintahs, we FINALLY saw a moose at Snowbird...the next morning we walked right past another one on our adventure race.
Josh and I did an "adventure race" at Snowbird. We hiked, biked and crossed a rope traverse, where we were rigged wrong and STRUGGLED to gt across to the other side, rope was burning on our harness the entire time...Josh's leg straps snapped on his harness and he truly thought he was going to die. As a result...his body cramped up so after about 5 total hours we decided to call it a success that we were both alive and walking and called it a day. At least we did something different!
The highlight of the summer was spending time with Josh's oldest brother, Mike, and his family. They came to Southern Utah from Texas to visit for a few days and we crammed as much in as we could. Hiking the narrows at Zion, canyoneering, Kolob canyon, family party.
The older kids went Canyoneering near Silver Reef...first time for some and they did Awesome!
