Keyan really likes Bob the Builder right now, he often sings the song to the show multiple times per day/hour. I knew he would just love a Bob the builder cake....well note to anyone thinking of doing one...the characters from the show are practically impossible to find, and even if you do they are crazy expensive. So...we settled on generic tractors and a print-out of Bob and Wendy.
We sang to him....he cried, then he finally realized what was going on and he blew out his candles.
Since his b-day was on a Monday, it actually became a two-day affair, Sunday he had his cake, got some presents, and had a pinata. Then the next day he got some really fun stuff, a bike and a sandbox. He also got to go to the gravel pit and see "the hugest tractor ever" put sand in the trailer. He had lunch at "the play place" and then played in the sand box (which apparently calls for no shirt).
Keyan is one strong willed little guy. If he doesn't like his food, he'll push it off his tray. If he doesn't like what you ask him not to do, he won't do it, but he'll scream at you. He pushes and pinches to get your attention. Despite all of this he manages to be a little angel almost all of the time in public. When I tell people he is kind of naughty they all think I'm crazy. I'm grateful he doesn't act that way in public very often, but I swear people he's not always quiet! He has really started talking well recently and he loves to copy his brother's every move and word. They are such good friends, I'm so glad they get along so well. We're greatful to have this little ball of fire in our family.
Finally, after hours of looking at his cake, he got to play with the tractors.

The cake turned out awesome! I am so impressed. Great job! Sandbox is awesome too. It's the best thing that we have ever done for our kids. Hours of entertainment. Time flies. I remember when you were pregnant with him. Happy Birthday big guy
