We went to Hurricane for Labor day weekend. Josh had his 10 year class reunion, Tooele football played them that weekend, and Peach Days was going on so there was a lot to fit into a couple of days.

Keyan got on this little rocking chair and for some reason he didn't think he could get off by himself so he just cried and rocked, it was kind of sad, but kind of funny too.

Since we live "on the moon" we haven't taken our kids to any parades since we would have to wake up 30 min earlier, it just hasn't seemed worth it. Tiago kept asking what these people and cars were doing I had to keep explaining to the poor kid it was a parade and they just drive and walk down the road. This parade has become famous for the ridiculous amount of candy that is given out. They even had a candy cannon at the end and some kids just followed it through the rest of the parade route getting candy as fast as they could load it and shoot it out. I'm not sure why I decided to take pictures when the "massage" float was going by!

Tiago is in this little strawberry the bigger kids were spinning it so fast he had to turn around and hold on to the seat on the left you can see his blue hat just above the seat.

I recognized this guy from my days at SUU, kind of random. Tiago didn't think twice about going up in this fairous wheel.
Well maybe he was a bit concerned...see him gripping the mesh and trying to see where he's headed, he was going backwards!
These little rockets ended up being his favorite, of course he was flying and shooting stuff.
By the time we had spent our $10 in tickets it was so blasted hot we had to retreat back to G-ma's house for lunch and some A/C.
On the way home from the trip, I was so bugged by Keyan's screaming (only about 3 hours worth) I couldn't even muster the courage to take a picture, hopefully I will be able to forget it soon since we are headed back down in a couple of months for a triathlon!
