We came across some extra money flow and were able to do a few things around the yard this summer.
Of course with a lot of help from our neighbor-contractor-family.
We built a "barn" it has a loft which allows for plenty of storage. We also re-finished the chicken coop.
We FINALLY did something in the front, we poured this awesome bike racing track/future basketball court. It's finished off even more now, but I'm too lazy to take an updated pic.
Despite NO help from me (or our now extinct bees), Josh planted a moderately sized garden with some big pumpkins. We ended up harvesting about 20 pumpkins, this beauty is a 50 pounder. He also planted sunflowers which have been interesting to learn about and to harvest.
I'm really looking forward to helping around the yard this fall and next summer, it's amazing all of the work you wish you could do when you can't. What do people do on Saturday who have no yard/land?

We did a lot of summer projects too this summer. I love your new family picture. You are so good at keeping them updated. And you look great!! I'm jealous of the garden. Mine was really little this year. Can't wait until next year to have it bigger.
