Swim Lessons

Tiago took his first swim lessons this summer. It was for 8 days. I could have sworn it lasted 2 months (see camping post about me being a home-body) Perhaps being 8 months pregnant and dragging a 2 year old along every day in the 90 degree heat was part of the problem, but I just did not enjoy having my life on such a schedule! I'm NOT looking forward to these kids being in school. There's just something about others telling me when I have to be somewhere and when I can take a day off that just bugs me...I think that's a different post. Anyway, for the most part Tiago really liked it, he is pretty comfortable in the water but still has a ways to go.
Porter was pretty upset the first class, but after some tough love by his mom and his teacher he turned into quite the little fish by the end.

At the end of each class they played a shark and fish game, Tiago's swim shirt has a shark on it so he thought that was super cool.
Poor Keyan had to stay strapped in his stroller so I didn't have to chase him around. I just took as much food as possible and fed him to distract him.
 Here's the group.
After the first week Tiago asked for goggles so he payed for half and got these...I think they're more of a distraction than anything at this point.
Our goal is to take them swimming once a week next summer when no one is pregnant!
