St. George Triathlon
We couldn't resist the chance to get in one last triathlon before winter hit so we headed off to St. George in mid November. The weather ended up being almost perfect, maybe just a titch chilly. These southern Utah people take their sporting very serious so I was pretty nervous about this race. Lots of "real triathletes" at this one, but there were still some huge people that you wonder how in the world they will finish and then...us the folks in the middle. Josh's brother Ben and his wife MaryAnn competed in this one too, it was fun to see each other throughout the course.

Now that we are both competing there aren't nearly as many photo oportunities..."luckily" Josh finished a good 15 min before me so he was able to snap this beauty.
Here's the crew afterward, notice MaryAnn and Josh could have done another one right then. Note to self: suck in for ALL pictures while wearing spandex!
Josh got DQ'd for not completing the run loop 2x after some mathmatical persuasion he concluded it would have been his best finish so far. I finished right at my goal time, but my run should have been better....always things to improve!
