We cramped everything we could into a long weekend in Southern Utah...here's how it went:
We went to Snow Canyon State Park...

There are caves there...one kid friendly, one not so much...

There is a big sand dune there, it wasn't as hot as it looks...mid 70's. Tiago ran and ran through the sand.

Keyan loved picking up handfulls of sand and either throwing them on my leg or eating them.

I let him go for a minute and he took off crawling through the sand.

Then we swam at the pool that was in the neighborhood of the house we rented, Tiago, Josh, Kennedi and Porter loved it; Dwayne, Keyan, and Christin liked it; Paizlee slept and Tiffany fell asleep in the sun and got scorched.
The Easter Bunny came saturday morning to not distract so much from the real meaning of Easter. She left WAY too much candy. She looked a lot like this lady in green!
And somehow she knew Keyan loves honeycomb, his eggs were stuffed with it!
We went to the 80+ year old traditional Covington Easter Picnic with Josh's family. This shows maybe 1/10 of the crowd.

We went to "The Crack" by Dixie rock. We were all either too big or too small to hike through the actual crack, but we did some serious rock climbing considering we had more kids to haul than adults to carry them.

We had a Birthday Party for Keyan, He is being entertained by his grandpa Bringhurst as he eats his hot dog which he loved.

Tiago helped him blow out the candles and then, yep he stuck his hand right in the cake.

He must take after his dad, because he devoured the cream cheese frosting cake.

The kids stayed up as late as possible every night and literally forced themselves to watch movies, I saw Tiago almost nod off several times, but as soon as he caught himself he would sit up so he couldn't fall asleep. I've never heard someone (Porter) ask to watch "Tangweld" so much.

On the way home we stopped at the traditional Meadow park to stretch our legs.
This pretty much sums up how we were all feeling on the way home... tired, tan, ready for our own bed, and ready for spring to come to Tooele!

Your weekend looks so much warmer than mine was. I spent most of the time freezing to death in flip flops I insisted on wearing. Looks super fun! Happy Birthday to Keyan
Looks like lots of fun! How was the house, would you do that again? I am ready for a vacation!
