Josh and I met at SUU in the ROTC program. After our missions Josh and I started "hanging out" and after just a couple of months He was able to convince me that we should get married. I gave him a bit of a challenge, but I am so grateful that He stuck it out and on June 24, 2005 we were married in the Salt Lake Temple.
We went on an AWESOME honeymoon, a cruise to the Caribbean, when we returned we had to do some military training and were apart for 2 months just 2 weeks after being married! That was a key point in our relationship as that is when we decided to change our career goals and begin to distance ourselves from the military life.
We both graduated from SUU in 2006. Josh's degree is in History, Military Science and Political Science and mine is in Psychology and Military Science.
We moved to Tooele and both got jobs in the Financial World (We are still not sure how that all came to pass, but we are grateful for the lesson's learned during the two years we worked these first jobs)
In February of 2008 we moved into our house...we were able to build it ourselves (with a tremendous amount of help from our families, especially my Dad.) For this opportunity we will forever be grateful as it has enabled us to have a nice home where we can raise our family and still be able to live off of one income allowing me to stay home.
On June 23, 2008 our lives REALLY changed forever. Tiago was born and our real work on this Earth began.
Shortly after Josh changed jobs and now sells financial services for Axa Advisors.
